The Maubeuge Zoo Park, located within the town walls, covers nearly 7 hectares and contains more than 500 animals, including white storks, pelicans, chimpanzees, kangaroos and giraffes. The nearby Zoo Farm offers children the chance to approach resident donkeys and sheep and provides a nice spot to enjoy a picnic lunch.
