Completely reorganized from 1994 to 1996, this unique museum houses nearly 50,000 textile pieces which outline the history of printed textiles with exceptionally rare masterpieces as well as ordinary, everyday artifacts -- from magnificent 18th-century hangings to T-shirts. Permanent galleries provide insight into the technical evolution of textile printing through displays featuring machinery, dyes and tools of the craft.
