The Carre dArt stands in contrast to the Maison Carree, an elegant 3rd century Roman temple that is located directly opposite this modern structure. Designed by Sir Norman Foster, the Carre dArt is constructed of glass and steel and houses a collection of nearly 300 works, offering a panorama of artistic creation from the 1960s to the present day.
