Cathedrale Sainte-Croix

Search Orleans

Located just south of the Musee des Beaux Arts, the cathedral was begun in 1287, was destroyed by the Huguenots in 1568 and rebuilt during the 17th-19th centuries. It is full of references to Joan of Arc, who celebrated her victory over the English there.
