Musee de Pont-Aven

Celebrating the painting style of the Pont-Aven School, this municipal museum has a permanent collection of paintings, watercolors, drawings and engravings and hosts three temporary exhibitions per year, which focus either on a specific painter or a specific aspect of the Pont-Aven movement. The documentation center, located on the first floor, contains books, old catalogues, newspaper and magazine articles and manuscripts about the painters that made up the School of Pont-Aven and artists who worked in Brittany between the end of the 19th century and the beginning of the 20th century.
