Located at the southern tip of the Quiberon Peninsula, the fishing port and resort town of Quiberon is the departure point for the car ferry to Belle-Ile. The west coast of the peninsula, known as Cote Sauvage, can be extremely windy with rough surf while the sheltered eastern coastline offers calm beaches and a number of campsites.
