Located just west of Bastia, St-Florent is often compared to St-Tropez its harbor filled with yachts from around the Mediterranean, its town center lined with cafes and chic shops. The town also features a 15th-century Genoese citadel (closed to visitors) and the 12th-century Cathedrale de Santa Maria Assunta, a major attraction for travelers.
