St-Paul-de-Vence

Located 27 km east of Cannes and 31 km north of Nice, the fortified hilltop town of St- Paul-de-Vence is enclosed within perfectly preserved 16th-century ramparts, offering views of the surrounding landscape from atop the city walls. Cobblestone passageways wind to fountains and ancient churches, but the famous Maeght Foundation, displaying one of Europe's greatest collections of modern art, is the towns primary attraction.
