Les Jacobins

Search Visit

Founded in the 13th and 14th centuries, Les Jacobins is a magnificent example of Gothic monastic architecture. Built entirely of brick, it features a soaring, palm-tree vault with 22 ribs, which supports the roof of the choir. Also included in the beautiful complex of buildings is the cloister, with a succession of graceful arches, and the refectory, in which exhibitions are occasionally hosted.
