Situated on a hill above a bend in the Vezere River, 58 km SE of Limoges, the small town of Uzerche is known as the Pearl of the Limousin. Uzerche boasts a number of well-preserved buildings for visitors to enjoy, including the Romanesque church of St-Pierre, which dominates a hill above the town.
