The purpose of the Atlanta Preservation Center is to enhance Atlanta's quality of life by promoting the preservation, conservation and renewal of architecturally historically and culturally significant buildings, neighborhoods, and landscapes through education and advocacy. Landmarks they have had a hand in saving include the Fox Theater, the Biltmore Hotel, the Margaret Mitchell House, and Inman Park. They offer walking tours and lectures.
