Appling

Appling is located in Columbia County west of Augusta between Lewiston and Thompson along Highway 221 near the Strom Thurmond Reservoir in the Historic South Region of the state. Situated just north of the Fort Gordon military installation.

Appling is part of the Augusta-Aiken, Georgia-South Carolina metro area.
