Atlanta Botanical Garden

The garden features 15 acres of landscaped gardens, a state-of-the-art Conservatory, a 15-acre hardwood forest with walking trails, and a 2-acre Children's Garden. The various outdoor displays include Japanese, perennial, vegetable, herb and rock gardens as well as gardens for shade and winter bloom. The rose garden contains numerous rose varieties and companion perennials. The carnivorous plant bog is home to native insect-eating plants such as sundews, pitcher plants and Venus fly-traps. An especially interesting display is a dwarf and rare conifer garden which showcases the enormous variety among cone-bearing plants.
