Austell is located in
Cobb County between Powder Springs and Lithia Springs near the Chattahoochee River in the
Metro Atlanta Region of the state. Austell is a town west of
Atlanta and north of Interstate 20.
Austell is part of the Atlanta, Georgia metro area.
It was amed after Gen. Alfred Austell, settler.
