Blue Ridge

Blue Ridge is located in Fannin County, of which it is the county seat, north of Atlanta between Snake Nation and Mineral Bluff along Highway 76 on the banks of the Ellijay River near Blue Ridge Lake in the Mountains Region of the state.

Blue Ridge was the filming location for the 1996 movie, "Independence Day".
