Cuthbert is located in
Randolph County, of which it is the county seat, south of
Columbus along Highway 27 near Pachitia Creek in the
Southern Rivers Region of the state. Cuthbert is just east of the Alabama state line.
It was named after Col. John Alfred Cuthbert, congressman.
