Mitchell County Hospital (33 beds), Mitchell Convalescent Center (48 beds) and Pelham Parkway Nursing Home (108 beds) became affiliated with John D. Archbold Memorial Hospital in 1990 and immediately underwent a $2 million renovation and equipment upgrade. Another result of the affiliation allows Mitchell County Hospital to participate in an efficient, multi-hospital system that delivers quality healthcare at the lowest possible cost. The beneficiaries are the citizens of Mitchell County. Their major services include: Echocardiogram, Emergency Department, Endoscopy, Emergency Department, Family Practice, Home Health Services, Inpatient Services, Laboratory, Mobile Sleep, Disorders Testing, Obstetrics/Gynecology, Pediatrics, Radiology, Respiratory Care, Sleep Studies, Surgery-Inpatient & Outpatient, and Vascular Imaging.
