Excellence in health care and community service has been a tradition at St. Francis Hospital since the Sisters of St. Francis of Millvale, Pennsylvania, opened its doors to the public in 1950. Although the Sisters have gone, the commitment continues at the private, acute-care community hospital on Manchester Expressway.
St. Francis offers inpatient, outpatient and emergency room services and enjoys a regional reputation for excellence in cardiac care. It also offers home health services, home medical equipment, home infusion services, a senior living facility and a Health Matters Resource Center at Peachtree Mall.
To serve the needs of those in this region within a large radius of Columbus, Georgia, St. Francis Hospital currently has 292 beds on its main campus and 84 beds at The Bradley Center of St. Francis, its mental health facility. St. Francis employs more than 1,400 people and has more than 250 board certified physicians on its medical staff.
