Meadow Garden is near the Augusta Canal on Independence Drive. This former home of George Walton, the youngest signer of the Declaration of Independence, is furnished with 18th and early 19th century pieces. Tour of 1790-1804 house displays period furnishings, Walton family memorabilia, 1700 medicinal herb garden, 1700 kitchen garden, plantings of flowers, fruits and shrubbery of the period, porcelains, paintings, primitive household equipment, and the museum shop.
