Monument to the Poets of Georgia |
This marble monument honors 19th century poets Sidney Lanier, a native of Macon, James R. Randall and Father Abram Ryan who each lived in Augusta for a period of time and Paul Hamilton Hayne who lived in Grovetown and is buried in Augusta. The monument was dedicated in 1913 to the memory of 4 of Georgia's poets.
