Margaret Mitchell House is listed on the National Register of Historic Places by the National Trust for Historic Preservation in Washington, D.C. Located in the heart of the city, this two-block historic site includes a three story Tudor revival home with 3,700 sq. feet of usable event space, including parlor rooms and covered porches all in a charming courtyard setting with a sunken garden and front lawn. The facility also includes a gallery space ideal for lectures and presentations as well as an elegant evening of dinner and dancing. Amenities offered include: free limited parking, list of approved caterers and suggested vendor list, skilled volunteers offering tours of Margaret Mitchell's apartment, on-site security, and experienced and knowledgeable event staff.
