This nonprofit University museum was founded in 1984 under the name of Oglethorpe University Art Gallery. The museum's specialty is the exhibition of international, representational, figurative, and spiritual forms of art. Two large galleries occupy over 7000 square feet of space on the third level of Lowry Hall and Philip Weltner Library. Traveling art exhibits are a special must-see when visiting the museum.
There is no admission fee, and parking is free.
