Ringgold Georgia

Ringgold is located in Catoosa County, of which it is the county seat, in the Mountains Region of the state. The population estimate for July 1, 1998 was 1,920, an increase of 245 since 1990. It was named after Maj. Samuel Ringgold, the first American officer to die in the Mexican War.
