Senoia

Senoia is located in Coweta County in the Southern Rivers Region of the state. The population estimate for July 1, 1998 was 1,545, an increase of 589 since 1990. One tradition says the community was named for the mother of Creek Indian leader William McIntosh Jr., while another says it was named for a Creek chief.
