Springfield

Springfield is located in Effingham County just north of Savannah between Rincon and Shawnee along Highway 119 near the South Carolina state line in the Coast Region of the state. Situated between the Ogeechee and Savannah rivers.

It was named after the plantation of Gen. David Blockshear.
