Valdosta Georgia |
Valdosta is located in Brooks Lowndes County just north of the Florida state line between Thomasville and Homerville along Highway 84 in the Southern Rivers Region of the state. Banks Lake and the Little River are nearby.
It was named after the country home of Gov. George M. Troup.
