Challenge at Manele

This 18 hole par 72 course over 7,039 yds expresses Jack Nicklaus' special concept of the "target" course, running on red lava fields along a beautiful coast. It offers challenges like drives over cliff, deep gorges, ravines and flags very close to the cliff's edge. Every hole guarantees golfers an ocean view. The course opened in 1992 and has a mandatory cart policy. To obtain tee times, call the golf shop. High season is November to February, with the course open year round.

Golfers give high marks to this new course and its clubhouse. Maui Island visitors and residents can take the Lahaina-Lanai Passenger Ferry and play golf here or at Experience at Koele.
