The Inn is a 1930's plantation house surrounded by tropical gardens located on the northern edge of downtown Hilo. It houses 27 rooms with private baths; two acres of gardens surround the Inn. The majority of the rooms are in the original part of the building backed by a gigantic bamboo grove. The Inn was built prior to air conditioning, so it is positioned to catch the winds in a traditional cooling system.
