This organization is located at the basecamp for forestry operations in
Makiki Forest. They offer guided hikes on most Saturday mornings for $5. Trails range from the easy 2.5 mile Makiki Loop trail to the strenuous six mile hike up Mt Kaala.
Mt Kaala is the island's highest peak. Reservations are required. Hiking on rugged trails requires sturdy shoes and lunch and water for longer hikes.
