Highway 550-Kokee Road

One of the most scenic drives in the state of Hawaii is up Highway 550-Kokee Road on the island of Kauai. During this drive you can visit major attractions, Waimea Canyon and Kokee State Park. Plan a long half-day; mornings have better visibility. Drive up Highway 550 further and find two grand overlooks that have views of the Na Pali Coast: the Kalalua Valley Outlook and Puu O Kila Lookout. The lofty perches, in a rainforest habitat, are in the clouds.
