Hawaii Business College is located in Honolulu, Honolulu County, HI,and has an enrollment of about 280.

Established in 1973 by the late Mitsuru Omori, Hawaii Business College is the only locally owned post-secondary school in Hawaii specializing in business education.

The predecessor of the College was the Stenographic Institute of Hawaii, which was founded in 1949 and directed by Mr. Omori. He was the first person to introduce the stenograph/stenotype shorthand machine to Hawaii.
