This institution offers a series of one-day lectures and workshops on a variety of subjects related to Japanese culture. Topics include Japanese swords, Noh masks and Japanese cooking demonstrations.

The center also offers courses in a wide variety of subjects such as kanji calligraphy, tea ceremony, haiku and Japanese brush art. These sessions generally last three months and are more for residents. Registration for day courses are usually under $10.
