The Papakea Resort, located on North Kaanapali Beach, is one of only two low rise resorts on the ocean. It has the smallest number of units on one of the largest acreage of any resort in Kaanapali. There are two large swimming pools, two Jacuzzis, four saunas, two shuffleboard courts, three lighted tennis courts, and twelve gas barbecues. The grounds consist of acres of open grass area, tropical gardens, and walkways lighted with tiki torches. Its central location makes it easy to take in a round of golf at Kaanapali or Kapalua, visit local shops, museums, restaurants, and galleries.
