Kahului is located in
Maui County on the west side of
Maui Island, between
Wailuku and Lower Paia at the junction of Highways 32 & 36 on Kahului Bay near the West Maui Forest Reserve.
Maui’s principal airport is located here and it is also the site of the only deep water port on the island. A few of the sites to see in Kahului include the Alexander & Baldwin Sugar Museum, the Maui Arts Cultural Center, the Kanaka Pond Waterfowl Sanctuary, and the Kanaha Wildlife Sanctuary.
