This eclectic museum is the work of Parker descendant Harriet Solomon and her husband Albert. It includes artifacts from around the world as well as from Hawaii. Traditional artifacts include poi pounders, calabashes and bone fishhooks.

Located at the junction of Hwy 19 and Hwy 250 the Kohala Mtn Rd. Open daily, admission is charged.

Annual Maui Steel Guitar Festival Maui HI April19-21 Featured performers will also conduct on-site school visits to various Maui schools to educate and and inform Maui's youth about the Hawaiian steel guitar. These visits, targeted specifically for students of these schools, includes both educational sessions and entertainment by the visiting performers.

Merrie Monarch Festival Hilo HI June7-9 Merrie Monarch Festival is a week-long cultural event held annually in Hilo on the island of Hawaii. Festivities start on Easter Sunday and culminate with the Hula competition events at the Edith Kanaka'ole Tennis Stadium - Miss Aloha Hula on Thursday, Hula Kahiko on Friday, and Hula 'Auana on Saturday.
