Volcano Teapot Cottage was built in the early 1900s for family and friends to spend their summers, enjoying the cool mountain climate, and the awesome eruption of Kilauea Volcano just three miles away. It is a two bedroom and one bath bungalow, furnished with antiques, and has a four poster bed with flannel sheets, down comforter, and quilts. A second bedroom has two twin beds. Facilities include a hot tub in a private forest garden, a gas fireplace, craftsman-style pavilion, full bath with a claw-footed tub and shower, fully equipped and stocked kitchen, telephone, TV/VCR, and a reading library. Massage and healing touch are done upon request.
