This windward shore beach is where parts of the movie "South Pacific' were filmed. It is reached by walking down a steep path to the beach west of
Hanalei on
Kuhio Hwy (Rt 56). You can swim here in the summer month.
In the winter, you can watch the seas roll across the reefs, with the lava rocks and mountains framing the view.
