Opened in 1965, this 18 hole par 72 course was carved out of lava next to the ocean in a Robert Trent Jones layout. The course is open year-round, with high season from November to April. There are no caddies and carts are included in green fees.
Guests can call for reservations up to four days in advance, non-guests two days in advance. The course has drawn raves from golfers since it opened, described as "a great classic course" with "awesome par 3s". It is located 34 miles south of Kailua Kona.
