This golf course is located at the
Mauna Lani Bay Hotel & Bungalows, which is 30 miles north of
Kailua Kona. It is actually two courses, the North Course and the South Course. Both courses are open year-round and carts are included in the green fee.
The North Course is par 72 for 18 holes. High season is November to April and guests can call up to 14 days in advance to reserve tee times. Non-guests may call three days in advance. Some golfers say it is not as dramatic as the South Course, but appreciate the tricky challenging holes from the tips.
The South Course is par 72 for 18 holes and also has a 14 day in advance policy for guests, three days for non-guests. Golfers rave about the beautiful black lava and putting greens.
