Karen's work includes Hawaiian watercolors of cats, dogs, gamefish, cows, beach scenes, tropical flowers, turtles, dolphins, and birds, thus emerging as a true portrait of Hawaii. Her fanciful designs reflect the island's beauty and warmth. Karen will paint your pets in a tropical setting. She inspires school children with her teaching and book illustrations, and with murals in the Kona Community Hospital. Karen's love of children has led her on the exciting adventure of illustrating children books. For 25 years her oil painted needlepoint canvases have won top honors in hundreds of shows.
