National Tropical Botanical Gardens

The National Tropical Botanical Gardens was chartered by the US Congress in 1964 as a privately supported research and educational institution. It mission is to be an internationally recognized leader and resource for the propagation, study and conservation of tropical plants, and to enlist the public to help protect and enrich the environment. The gardens that are part of this institution are Allerton Garden, Lawai Gardens and Limahuli Garden.
