Sachi is a Hawaiian based painter, watercolorist, and sculptor, whose subjects vary from the most delicate watercolor child, dolphin or floral to equestrian works done on canvas, in impasto technique. Her art also includes writing non-fiction and children's books, poetry, visionary music, and bronze sculpture. Her paintings have benefitted marine and wildlife preservation programs. Much of her work is collected, exhibited throughout Hawaii, and distributed worldwide.

Merrie Monarch Festival Hilo HI June7-9 Merrie Monarch Festival is a week-long cultural event held annually in Hilo on the island of Hawaii. Festivities start on Easter Sunday and culminate with the Hula competition events at the Edith Kanaka'ole Tennis Stadium - Miss Aloha Hula on Thursday, Hula Kahiko on Friday, and Hula 'Auana on Saturday.
