Pearl City

Pearl City is located in Honolulu County nine miles northwest of Honolulu on the island of Oahu, between Waipahu and Waimalu, west of Waimalu Stream. It lies along Highway H1 near the East and Middle lochs of Pearl Harbor. Pearl Harbor Naval Reservation is to the southwest.

Pearl City, population 30,993, bases its economy on fruit and vegetable processing, metalworking and machinery. Ewa Forest Reserve and Keaiwa Heiau State Recreational Area are to the northeast. The city is the home of Leeward Community College.

Pearl City is part of the Honolulu, Hawaii metro area.
