Reeds Bay Beach Park

The Ice Pond at the head of the bay is fed by cold freshwater springs that rise in the saltwater. The swimming is safe in the protected bay, which is close to downtown Hilo. It is located at Banyan Dr and Kalanianaole Ave in Hilo.
