Roy's Restaurant

This restaurant on Hwy 72 west of Hanauma Bay is considered one of the best dining places on Oahu Island. Top chef and owner Roy Yamaguchi is a driving force behind the ascent of Pacific Rim cuisine.

He blends fresh local ingredients with the lighter nouvelle cuisine of European cooking and Japanese, Thai and Chinese influences. It all happens in an open kitchen in the center of the dining room.

Entrees include such items as a crisp lemongrass chicken covered with a Cabernet curry sauce. Other meat and seafood dishes are available, along with imaginative appetizers. Open from 5:30 to 10pm daily, from 5:00pm on weekends.
