Sandy Beach

Sandy Beach is a popular hangout for local youth, but it is not a good swimming beach. A mean shorebreak gives too much chop for safe swimming. There are changing facilities, however, and indoor and outdoor showers.

Food trucks parked along the Kalanianaole Hwy provide tasty snacks when the the sea breeze works up your appetite. The winds are steady here making it a perfect spot for kite flying.

Located on the southeast coast of Oahu Island, Sandy Beach is two miles east of Hanauma Bay.
