Aiea United Methodist Church, founded in 1900, is a place where God's children are welcome. It is a diverse congregation close to 250 in worship each Sunday morning. The services blend traditional and contemporary elements. The fellowship includes both Hawaii residents, and military members and their families. It also has a Samoan language ministry and combined English-Samoan fellowship service. Nursery and Sunday school program for children, youth, and adults are available. A youth ministry group, four choirs, a dynamic missions program, and vibrant, life-giving worship are features. Financial assistance is given to several local groups that help the poor, the homeless, at-risk youth, college students, and prisoners.
