Turtle Town

This popular dive site off south Maui Island is named for the green sea turtles that inhabit the area. They are accustomed to divers and it not uncommon to see a dozen of them swimming together.

This is a stop on many snorkeling and scuba diving charters that often go to Molokini Island crater and stop here on the way back. It is against the law to touch green sea turtles and fines are imposed. Turtle Town lies offshore from Wailea.
