The central campus is at Manoa, east of downtown
Honolulu and two miles north of
Waikiki. It is known for its programs in astronomy, geophysics, marine sciences and Hawaiian and Pacific studies.
Hemenway Halll is a student gathering spot near the Campus Center and Sinclair Library. Walking tours leave the Campus Center every Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 2pm. The Information Center in the Campus Center can provide maps and information.
There are over 300 acres of landscaped grounds on the campus, with more than 560 varieties of tropical trees and plants.
