Waimea Bay Beach Park

This famous surfing spot on the northshore of Oahu Island is immortalized in the Beach Boys song "Surfin' USA". The parking situation can be tight and many drivers find it easier to park along the road and walk down to the beach.

The waves that break over the barrier reefs in the winter are huge and only experienced big wave surfers should go out. Summers are perfect for swimming and snorkeling. Waimea Falls Park is nearby, as is the Waimea Valley.

Beach facilities include showers, changing rooms and picnic tables in shady areas.
